Boots Budget Makeup Kit

Clockwise: L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying Base, L'Oreal Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation, Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, Max Factor Creme Puff Blush, L'Oreal Super Liner, Soap & Glory Archery Brow, Bourjois Healthy Balance, Soap & Glory Solar Powder, Revlon Ultra Hd Lipstick

Drugstore makeup is great and its hard to know what pieces to choose from the sea of products available in Boots, so I've decided to put together a little makeup kit, great if you are starting out with makeup, or want to completely refresh your makeup bag with great new stuff but that won't break the bank.

There are some incredible brands available in your local Boots store and I'm always going in there to pick up new pieces to try! So here is a complete set of makeup including the best drugstore pieces I've found. Ive chosen things for oily to combination skin types but have also provided some other drugstore alternatives for other skin types.

Primer
L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying Base - £7.99
A great little primer that works perfectly with the matching foundation I've chosen. It leaves a nice smooth matte base to start building your foundation on top of.
If a matte primer isn't your thing try .......

Base
L'Oreal Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation - £7.99
A beautiful buildable matte foundation! This is my favourite foundation! A medium to heavy coverage without feeling heavy, and it really does last all day long!
If matte isn't for you, why not try Bourjois Healthy Balance Foundation.

Concealer
Collection Lasting Perfection - £4.19
The best concealer I've used, and I've used a lot! I'm sure you've already heard about how great this is, and it really does live up to its name! Great for darkness under the eyes and covering blemishes, this high coverage concealer stays in place and its an absolute bargain!

Powder
Bourjois Healthy Balance - £8.99
A light soft setting powder thats great for all skin types. This powder doesn't stick to dry paces and your skin feels soft and as if your art even wearing powder!

Bronzer
Soap & Glory Solar Powder - £11.00
A much hyped bronzer which lives up to the hype! This a is great bronzer which suits most skin types, blends easily and looks great!

Blush
Max Factor Creme Puff Blush - £8.99
One of the more expensive blushes available at Boots but my favourite ones. There are a range of great colours from peachy pink to deep berry, each one has a little shimmer so there is no need for highlighter and they are a fantastic dupe for the Hourglass Ambient Light Blushes.

Brows
Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint & Pencil - £10.00
A great dupe for more high end brow pencils, this is great for beginners because not only does it have a pencil end it also has a neat little felt tip tint brush at the other end which is great for precise, accurate brow filling.

Eyeshadow (not pictured)
Seventeen Eye Shadow Mono - £3.89 each
Cheap as chips and available in lots of different highly pigmented colours, my favourite being Rose Quartz, you can afford to buy a couple for your makeup kit!

Eyeliner
L'Oreal Super Liner - £6.99
A great precision liner that is waterproof and stays in place!

Mascara
Maybelline Lash Sensational - £7.99
A great dupe for Benefit's Roller Lash, this mascara is also available in a waterproof version and leaves lashes long, separated and fluttery.

Lipstick
Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick - £7.99
There are hundreds of different drugstore lipstick options in Boots, this one being one of my favourites as it is available in lots of different highly pigmented colours and is soft and moisturising.
If you're more of a matte lip kinda girl why not try a Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick.

Total Cost = £86.01

Are there any products available from boots that you would recommend?
