Boots Budget Makeup Kit

Clockwise: L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying Base, L'Oreal Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation, Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, Max Factor Creme Puff Blush, L'Oreal Super Liner, Soap & Glory Archery Brow, Bourjois Healthy Balance, Soap & Glory Solar Powder, Revlon Ultra Hd Lipstick

Drugstore makeup is great and its hard to know what pieces to choose from the sea of products available in Boots, so I've decided to put together a little makeup kit, great if you are starting out with makeup, or want to completely refresh your makeup bag with great new stuff but that won't break the bank.

Benefit Hervana Blush

I've not purchased a Benefit blush before and I was on the search for a very subtle blush that had more of a berry tone to it. I don't like really pink bright or sparkly blushes as I don't want to exaggerate my round cheeks even more so! I wanted something I could simply swipe across the sides of my cheeks above my contour to give a little more colour to my pale skin.

Urban Decay - Naked On The Run

Feel Unique did an amazing 25% off sale recently and I managed to get my hands on the beautiful Urban Decay Naked On The Run Palette for the amazing price only £27.75! Normally retailing at £37 I couldn't resist purchasing it. Not only will this be great for taking on my travels to Paris in May but it also gives me the opportunity to test out some of their products I've not tried before. Plus it comes in a rose gold case! *drools*

Max Factor Creme Blush

Having recently seen a few bloggers reviewing the new Max Factor Creme Puff Blush I knew I had to get my hands on one! I ran off to my nearest Boots store and picked one up in the colour Seductive Pink. After swatching a few on the back of my hand I thought this would be the shade most suited to my pale complexion, even though all the colours are beautiful.

Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette

I've been wanted to try out the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette for ages! I've seen so many beauty bloggers use it and rave about it. I picked up the shade Streak, which contains a peachy pink blush, a shimmery highlighter and a nice gold toned bronzer. I love the set, which will be great for travelling as it contains all three products and they work so well together. You can use the 3 separately or swirl them all together to use over the cheeks. The pigmentation is good and the price was reasonable for 3 great products in one palette. I think this little palette will be perfect for giving me some colour coming into spring/summer.

Topshop Makeup Picks

I love Topshop! My mantra has always been "Shopping is my religion, Topshop is my church. I spend an unholy (pun intended) amount in Topshop and when they released their make up collection a few years ago I was in heaven!
